Fortran index

I am the lead organiser of a Fortran community initiative called “Fortran index”, which was born out of the Back to the Fortran Future satellite event of RSECon 2024. The objective of this initiative is to improve resource listing for the Fortran programming language on the fortran-lang community resource website.

We are running bimonthly hackathons to make group efforts to contribute packages, training materials, and any other resources that we feel are missing from the website. For information on the events that we’ve run so far, see the Fortran index GitHub repository

As part of this work, I am a maintainer of the fortran-lang website.

The work is done as part of my role as an RSE at the Institute of Computing for Climate Science (ICCS). It is supported by both ICCS and by a Computational Abilities knowledge Exchange (CAKE) fellowship.
